The school took on an even more melodic feel on our recent learn to
learn day with the focus on music, its performance and appreciation. The day started with a wonderful woodwind quintet roadshow. Then the children moved in their house colours and enjoyed activities such as: Listening to classical music and expressing their appreciation of it through art; moving with 80's music through dance; Learning percussion using 60's music and learning to write rhythm notation. Class 1 and Preschool had fun creating, learning their rap "Grandma, Grandma", which they then performed brilliantly at the end of school assembly where everyone came together to share their musical experiences. What a marvelous, musical day!         |
