Class 3 have been very busy this term with their new topic "Cracking Creations"! As you may guess from the title we have drawn a little inspiration from those daring inventors Wallace and Gromit. We have been designing our own inventions Wallace and Gromit style and have also been studying famous inventors who have changed our lives with their work. Even our role play area has been turned into a 'Think Tank' where we can design and develop our very own inventions and structures. We have also done a lot of work based on Michael Morpurgo's book - Kensuke's Kingdom. We have already used it as a basis for drama and descriptive writing as well as some art. We are also looking forward to doing some animation based on the book too. Talking about animation, we are very much looking forward to our trip to @Bristol where we will be able to see and experiment with science at work and play. Whilst we are there we will take part in an animation workshop which will give us lots of inspiration for our own animations!        |
