On a nippy Monday in January, we were able to welcome our latest guest
artist Mr Diccon Dadey to come and install and unveil our new art
installation. Diccon specialises in working with metal and has worked with the school children to design a wonderful piece of metal art. The design has been based around the school and its values, so the centre holds a wonderful renderring of the school whilst the arms that surround it each have a value (trust, truth, compassion, friendship, thankfulness, forgiveness and love) inscribed on them using different metalwork methods. The children are quite rightly proud of their design and Diccon's amazing work and everyone can now enjoy it everyday on their way in and out of the school as it stands proud by the main entrance.    |
