 Hello and welcome to pre-school.In term 5 the children of pre-school and class 1 have chosen "Ready, Steady, Go!" as their topic. We have been looking at different forms of transport. The children have told us how they get to school and how they would like to get to school. This has been very interesting! Some children would like to travel in a hot air balloon, motorbike, bus, and one child would like to come on a horse. Our home corner is a shoe shop as we all decided we use our feet to transport us around. There are challenges in the home corner for some children to read and others to ask what they say. One challenge is to find out "Who has smaller feet than you?". Throughout our final two terms we are getting our older children ready for school. They are doing really well at getting changed for PE and we ask parents to encourage your children to get dressed by themselves at home. We are starting to get ready for our leavers service which will be held in July (more details to follow). This is a lovely service and we will be selling a DVD of your child's time at pre-school. It's a great reminder and will show you just what your child does in pre-school.  |
