
South Marston C of E Primary School is a voluntary controlled School.
The Church is represented through foundation members of the Governing Body.
The distinctive character of the School is recognised by, the promotion of high standards of moral behaviour, which will encourage a positive attitude and learning environment. The teaching of traditional values and a fostering of spiritual awareness is upheld, in order to develop in each individual a holistic approach to life.
During the SIAS inspection of Church schools in April 2008 the school achieved Good with outstanding features with 'outstanding' for spiritual care and guidance of the pupils.
